Five persons were found dead in Jhimruk River in Pyuthan district on Tuesday. Landslides and floods triggered by the incessant rain have disrupted the life in Pyuthan district. The incessant rain since Monday evening has triggered the landslides at several places and abruptly increased the water level in Jhimruk River. The disasters at different places have obstructed the vehicular movement in the district. The various trade centres and the only bus park in the district are at high risk of havoc. The disaster in the region has also damaged the communication mediums. More reports on human casualities in Pyuthan district are yet to be established.
